our task was too construct a magazine front cover and a contents page for a school magazine
The technology we used was photoshop and from using this i have learnt how to layer images and text, cut out text and images from UrbanFonts™ using the lasso tool and layer them onto my project, i have also learnt how too rearrange all of my images and text too make a magazine like layout that fits the criteria.
The target audience includes young people, students and people that attend colleges and are interested in college news, we have tried too attract these people by using a modern and trendy design. we decided to use a modern street theme with little colour but grafiti texts which makes it look funky and modern wich would appeal to our target audience the generic conventions we used were the layout, how it was very modern and stylistic because we thought our audience would be more interested in a funky looking magazine.
